Her collage portrait of Marilyn Monroe captures the fun and energy of Holly's vibrant mixed media work and has a subtext discreetly within the work. 

Holly's murals have been part of the Sea.Hear.Now festivals and her mural "Eat My Cake" for the Wooden Walls Project was complete in 2021.

After an exhibit at Parlor Gallery in downtown Asbury Park we leapt at the opportunity to collaborate with local artist James Vance on this 07712 (Asbury Park’s zip code) design. James Vance went on to paint his mural “1871” on the Asbury Park boardwalk as part of the Wooden Walls Project. His work has now become part of the Asbury Park iconography.

"Here There Be Monsters" Sand Dune Tee, James Mignola

The beaux-arts reliefwork in the derelict Casino Building at the southend of the Asbury Park boardwalk has always fascinated me. Chef-illustrator James Mignola captures one of the creatures, frothing at the mouth, a tribute to the sea monsters 16th and 17th century cartographers drew at the edge of the known world.

How fitting that the t-shirt color is called Sand Dune.
